Smooth Ride for Dimapur, Potholes Repair

After long deliberate discussions the team finally decided to call themselves as Act Of Kindness Movement with “Smooth Ride For Dimapur” as a mission to undertake and repair potholes within the city, this first mission of AOK was welcomed by numerous individuals and institutions resulting in young volunteers flocking from different quarters to take part in the mission “Smooth Ride For Dimapur”.

The Movement’s prime objective is

- To stir the hearts of our people;

- To build a sense of ownership, honorship;

- To take responsibility;

and

- To Enliven the Dignity of Labour;

Through our Act of Kindness Movement

We cannot sit idle and blame one another. This is our homeland and it is our duty to nurture, and care for it in EVERY way that we can.

The culture that we enact will slowly spread around.

- A Culture built on Love.

The Movement intends to work in collaboration with the various likeminded people and non-political groups through mutual respect, at the same time raise funds for undertaking various Projects which will be decided and organized by the Core Team Members of the AOK Movement as and when essential. Till date all the funds has been received only through free will donations from individuals, groups, ministries interested in the missions of AOK.
